The Greencastle Civic League Bicentennial Tree Project
The Greencastle Civic League has planted 28 trees in celebration of Indiana’s Bicentennial. With generous funding from the Putnam County Community Foundation and additional donors to the Civic League, trees have been planted at Deer Meadow Primary, Ridpath Primary, Tzouanakis Intermediate and Greencastle Senior High schools, Beyond Homeless, City Hall, Robe-Ann Park and Big Walnut Sports Park. Thanks to all involved in helping dig holes and plant trees, which were all purchased locally from Snowy Pines Tree Farm.
