2024 Year in Review
It was another great year for the Greencastle Civic League and we are thankful for our members and donors in making so much happen!
ParkFest kicked off its 31st season in early summer! The free outdoor concert series was another huge success with great weather and amazing music. We had our largest audiences yet and can’t wait for another huge season next summer.
As part of our Clean City initiatives, we picked up lots of trash on Veteran’s Highway, a regular spring and fall activity to help keep our streets clean. And we helped clean up after the Fair parade, another great community tradition.
We served up lots of pancakes to the community and 5K runners on July 4th, which is a huge fundraiser for our organization.
And we continued our support of the arts with our annual downtown Halloween window decorating contest, which continues to grow every year.
To wrap up the year, we have partnered again with the Greencastle Parks & Recreation Department on the Winter Wonderland Lights Festival, lighting up almost all of Robe Ann Park with over 130,000 lights!
